With just one month to go until Farmaforum 2025, we revisit the words of Eduardo Sanz, Director of the Congress, during the last edition. Sanz reflected on the extraordinary evolution of a project that, after ten years, has established itself as an undisputed benchmark in the pharmaceutical sector in Spain.

‘Farmaforum began 10 years ago in a small hotel, in a hall with 30 stands and four friends,’ recalls Sanz. ‘And look what we’ve become,’ he continues, ‘the leading trade fair in Spain in our sector, with more than 7,000 visitors, 250 exhibitors and 200 presentations. It’s impressive, and we’re very proud of it.’
Beyond the figures, for the Director of the Congress, the true value of Farmaforum lies in having served as a platform to boost many companies which, like the organisation itself, started out with limited resources but big ambitions. A clear example of this parallel growth is Klinea. ‘We are excited to see how tiny companies, which started out like us 10 years ago, have grown spectacularly. Klinea clearly illustrates this evolution,’ says Sanz.
